    Hi Celeste,
    I've been working with the EVOKE network on socially innovative solutions for the problems facing Africa today. One of my current tasks is to pick a social innovation Hero to shadow online. You were a natural choice to me, as you're actually on the ground helping.     Oh and the picture is from a workshop for P4 teachers at the beginning of the month. It was on curriculum changes that were supposed to begin at the beginning of term, in february. I wanted to show the teachers working as well as the classroom they are in. The walls exhibit part of the "talking compound" initiative that the Ministry of Education encourages for healthy living. The painted sign in the top center part of the photograph says " The ABCs of AIDS Prevention, Abstain, Be Faithful and Use a Condom." The top right hand sign has the beginning of "Educated Women Make Better Mothers."

    Thanks for the explanation on the picture.
    keeping in mind i was well past my 30's
    when i met with a computer...
    i just figured out i could click
    on your pictures to enlarge them.
    So, i have had some fun going back
    and seeing more of the 'details' of
    your pictures.
    keep them coming!
    when you can
    when it is not raining
    when the internet is not down
    when the modem is working
    when you have a few hours to wait
    for the download...
    ahh, those wonderful tech tools.
